By 'you' and 'owner', we mean You, the paying owner of the boarding cat or cats.
By 'cat', 'cats' or 'your cat', we mean the cat or cats staying in the hotel.
By 'us' or 'the hotel' we mean Anogyra Cat Hotel and our staff.
By 'hotel's veterinary surgeon' we mean Dr. Michalis Pelekanis Veterinary clinic, Episkopi.
In the event of owners returning before the end of the booked boarding period, the full booked fee will be charged. There are no discounts for early collections.
Cats will only be accepted and collected during our opening hours. In exceptional circumstances, we may accept cats outside of these hours by appointment only. There may be an additional charge for this service.
Cats must be collected by 1230 on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed.
Any cat/cats not collected by 1230 may be charged for an extra day, unless otherwise agreed.
Although we allow for bookings of any length, please be aware that there is a minimum fee of two nights. This is to cover the cost of consumables and time to clean the room.
If your cat isn't collected within 7 days of the date on which she/he is due to leave the hotel, and no communication is received from the owner, a decision to re-home the cat will be made at the hotel's discretion. We will, by any means possible, inform you of this.
You must agree to these terms & conditions before your cat can stay with us.
Health & Medical
Cats will NOT be accepted for boarding without their current health book for immunisation against flu and enteritis. If you are unsure of whether your cat’s vaccinations are up to date please contact your veterinary surgery.
We will keep the health book with us during your cat's stay.
Owners must inform us at the time of booking of any serious medical issues.
We reserve the right to refuse admission of any cat showing signs of illness.
In the event of accident or illness, the hotel's veterinary surgeon will be called. Your cat may taken into the hotel veterinary surgeon’s care at our discretion.
We reserve the right to contact the owner’s veterinary surgeon to discuss any past or current medical problems.
If contact with the owner or the owner’s representative is not possible, any treatment deemed necessary will be carried out without the owner’s consent.
Whilst every care and precaution is taken with every cat boarded with us, the hotel cannot be held responsible for any illness, disease or death that may occur during boarding.
We will NOT be responsible for any veterinary fees incurred whilst boarding, whether pre-existing or otherwise.
Cats over 6 months of age are only accepted if neutered/sprayed.
Any treatment deemed necessary for the cat's comfort and well being, i.e. worming, flea treatment, etc., will be carried out at the hotel’s discretion and charged to the owner.
We will administer prescribed medication to your cat. However, should your cat risk causing harm to hotel staff or to itself whilst medication is being administered, resulting in it being impossible to treat your cat, it may be necessary for the cat to be cared for by a veterinary surgeon either at the hotel or at the veterinary surgery. Any veterinary fees incurred from this will be charged to the owner.
Food and Drink.
Wet and dry food will provided.
If you cat requires food other than the food we provide, you must provide this yourself.
We will feed your cat twice daily, morning and evening, unless you ask us otherwise on the entry form.
Water will be provided at all times.
Water will be changed twice daily at feeding times.
If your cat has any dietary requirements, these will be catered for, provided you say so on the entry from.
Bookings
Provisional bookings are accepted but can only be held for a maximum of 5 days.
Owners may be required to provide a non-refundable deposit of up to 50% of the total boarding fee to secure a booking.
We must be informed before the drop off day of any changes or cancellation to a reservation.
If we are not notified before the booked drop off days, owners will be charged for the full reserved period if they are shortening the original booking.
If extra days to those already booked are required, providing there is a space available, they will be charged for accordingly, including discounts.
When a booking needs amending you must inform us as soon as possible to avoid problems and disappointment when arriving to board.
Please be aware that if you are booking for the following year, our tariff may have changed from the time of booking to when your cat/cats board.
Prices are reviewed each year on 1st January.
Accommodation
Each room is 4metres by 1 metre.
Each room can legally house up to 3 cats.
Sharing of accommodation is available but only to compatible cats from the same household.
If two sharing cats show signs of aggression toward one another, they will be placed into separate rooms. Should this become necessary, fees will be updated accordingly.
Payment
Unless otherwise stated, payment is required at the start of the stay.
Cats will not be released until full payment is received.
